Kathleen "Bunny" Gibson is an actress and former dancer who regularly appears on the American Bandstand television show. NBC's “2016” “Hairspray Live,” asked Bunny to represent American Bandstand. Teen magazines call her "The American Band's Lover" and Dick Clark calls her "the national icon" when she receives thousands of letters a week. Kenny Rossi, shows up at a swim club near his home, drawing crowds of screaming teens. When a friend told him who the dancer was, Gibson started watching the show and practicing dancing with his refrigerator door. She made her debut on the show at the age of 13 in order to meet her idol, Philadelphia singer Bobby Rydell. Gibson quickly became a regular dancer on the show and remained on until 1961. Her regular dance partner was Eddie Kelly but she also danced with Steve Colanero, Johnny Alamia and Jay Jacovini.
