Edgar Parks Snow is an American journalist known for his books and articles on Communism in China and the Chinese Communist Revolution. He was the first Western journalist to fully report on the history of the Chinese Communist Party after the long march, and he was also the first Western journalist to interview a number of its leaders, including even Mao Zedong. He is best known for his book Red Star Over China, a documentary about the Chinese communist movement from its inception until the late 1930s.
