Emilie Autumn Liddell, known by her stage name Emilie Autumn, is an American singer-songwriter, poet, author, violinist and actress. Autumn's music style is described by her as "Fairy Pop", "Fantasy Rock" or "Victoriandustrial". He's influenced by glam rock and dramas, novels and history, especially the Victorian era. Performing with her all-female backup dancers, The Bloody Crumpets, Autumn combines elements of classical music, cabaret, electro and glam rock with theater and burlesque. Growing up in Malibu, California, Autumn started studying violin at the age of four and dropped out five years later with the goal of becoming a world-class violinist; she practices eight or nine hours a day and reads a variety of publications. Switching to her own musical writing, she studied with various professors and entered Indiana University, a university where she ignored issues related to the relationship between classical music and the advent of art.
