Erik Augustin Lincar is a former Romanian international and current manager. He was born in Oradea and made his debut in Divizia A against Steaua Bucure inti in 1997, after joining Steaua from the Girondins de Bordeaux youth team. Steaua won the championship in his first season with the club, won the trophy in 1999 and the championship title again in 2001. In 2002, he went abroad to spend two unsuccessful seasons at Greece in Panathinaikos and Akratitos. After playing for some time in Russia for FC Amkar Perm, Lincar returned to Romania. He played for Prefab Modelu, where he is also assistant director. In 2011, he coached FC Hunedoara in six sacked matches on September 26, 2011. Lincar made five appearances for the Romanian national team between 1999 and 2000 and was an empty reserve used at Euro 2000
