Jan Stenerud
Jan Stenerud is a former Norwegian football consultant who played for the National Football Federation and the American Football Federation for 19 seasons, primarily with captain Kansas City. As Norway's first NFL player, he began his career in the AFL after being selected by the Chiefs in a draft in 1966 and joined the NFL after the AFL-NFL merger. In addition to 13 seasons at Kansas City, Stenerud was a member of the Green Bay Packers for four seasons and the Minnesota Vikings for two until his retirement in 1985. Stenerud has been an All-Star six times in his career, as well as All-Pro four times in the NFL First Team and twice in All-AFL First Team. The season before merging AFL-NFL, he also helped the Captain win their first Super Bowl title at Super Bowl IV. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1991 as the first exclusive position picker to receive this honor.
