Kamal Addararachchi - කමල් අද්දරආරච්චි is a Sri Lankan actor, singer, and TV series and film presenter. He made his acting debut in the 1981 film Sagarayak Meda by Gamini Fonseka, while still a student at school. Since the late 1970s, he has appeared in various roles in numerous films and television series. Addararachchi, has appeared in over 40 films, 20 dramas and 6 plays, and won the Sarasaviya Best Actor Award for his role as Sobana in Agnidahaya in 2002. He also made his mark as a singer in 1993 with "Unmadawoo", a duet with Damayanthi Jayasooriya, in the movie Saptha Kanya. He is also the host of the first three seasons of Sirasa Superstar, a reality TV show and the first season of Hiru Mega Stars. He also had a nice fall at BMICH singing "Mal Pibidena Eka Wasantha Samayaka" by H. R Jothipala.
