Kesi first became famous through his own YouTube channel in the Angry Movie genre, also collaborating with others including Kidd and Gilli. In addition to his solo career, Kesi is also a member of the hip hop group BOC, a group based in Nørrebro. The Internet success with notably the first song "Byen Sover" led to a series of concerts and interest from established labels, meaning that Kesi, at age 18, signed a contract. with Universal Records in July 2011.
