Quinn Buckner
William Quinn Buckner is a former American professional basketball player and trainer. He played varsity basketball for the Indiana University Hoosiers and won the National Championship in 1976. He was the captain of the last undefeated NCAA Division I basketball team and the medalist of Olympic gold. Assembled in 1976. Buckner was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the 7th pick in the 1976 NBA Draft. He's had ten years of his career in the NBA for three teams. In 1984, he won the NBA title with the Celtics. Buckner is one of eight players in history to win the NCAA championship, the NBA championship, and the Olympic gold medal. He's also the state champion playing high school basketball in Illinois. In addition to his competitive career, Buckner served as head coach at the Dallas Mavericks for a year, from 1993 to 1994. Currently, Buckner is the color analyst for the Indiana Pacers television team on Bally Sports Indiana.
