Rex Everett Chapman is a former American professional basketball player and social media influencer. Chapman is a Kentucky high school freak, winning numerous awards for his play. During his two seasons at the University of Kentucky, he won even more awards and scored over 1,000 points. Chapman was the first pick in the Charlotte Hornets Expansion Pack Draft and played for all four of the National Basketball Association. In his 12-year career, he averaged 14.6 points per game and has competed in two slam dunk competitions. Continued injuries in NBA courts have left Chapman suffering from opioid addiction. After being arrested for theft, he entered the rehab for the third time and was able to overcome his addiction. After retiring, Chapman also held a number of positions on NBA teams, culminating in the vice president of human resources for the Denver Nuggets. He is currently the broadcaster for the University of Kentucky basketball matches.
