Robert Todd Pelinka Jr is the American basketball executive, lawyer, sports agent and former college basketball player from Lake Bluff, Illinois. Pelinka is currently the basketball executive vice president and general manager of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Prior to joining the Lakers, he was a representative of Kobe Bryant and the CEO of The Landmark Sports Agency, LLC. Pelinka has represented many of the players who have reached the top 14 picks since NBA Draft 2003, including two in the 2010 NBA Draft and second NBA Draft, Derrick Williams. In the 2012 NBA Draft, Pelinka represented Dion Waiters and Andre Drummond, who were selected 4th and 9 respectively. Pelinka was once Kevin Durant's agent and was once embroiled in controversy, as was Carlos Boozer's representative. . Pelinka played basketball for Lake Forest High School, winning the All-American title. As a junior he led Lake Forest High School to its first convention championship.
