Jung San, known by his stage name San E, is a South Korean rapper. He made his debut in 2010 under JYP Entertainment, where he was the company's first solo rapper. He left the company in 2013 to sign with hip hop label Brand New Music. At the end of 2018, Brand New Music terminated the contract with San E after the rapper made a series of controversial comments about feminism. San E released a full album: The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and three extended tracks: Everybody Ready ?, “Not” Based on a true story and a disturbing season. San E has received several major awards, including Best Hip-Hop Song at the Korea Music Awards 2010, Best Rap Performance at the Mnet Asian Music Awards 2015, and the Hip Hop Award.
