Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr., better known by his stage name Stormzy, is an English rapper. In 2014, he caught the attention of the British underground music scene with a series of Wicked Skengman songs with classic beats. Stormzy's “Shut Up”, originally posted for free on YouTube, gained popularity and reached eighth place on the UK Singles Chart after launching his campaign to reach number one over Christmas. Stormzy won the Best Grime Act at the 2014 and 2015 MOBO Awards and was named a must-see artist on the BBC Sound of 2015. Her debut album, Gang Signs & Prayer, was the first dusty album to hit the spot. number one on UK Albums Ranking and won the UK Album of the Year award at the 2018 Brit Awards. In 2019, Stormzy released her number one UK single with "Vossi Bop" and the poster's main appearance at the 2019 Glastonbury Festival was widely praised; he wears a Union Jack knife vest designed by Banksy, amid rising knife crime in London.
