Annette Crosbie is a Scottish actress. In 1970, she appeared in an episode of Callan, "Amos Green Must Live", as Mrs. May Coswood. She is best known for her role as Margaret Meldrew on the BBC sitcom One Foot in the Grave. She has twice won the BAFTA Television Award for Best Actress, for the six wives of Henry VIII in 1971 and Edward the Seventh. In 1976, she was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actress for the 1976 film The Slipper and the Rose and she won the Best Actress award at the British Film Awards. His other films include The Pope Must Die, Shooting Fish, The Debt Collector, Calendar Girls and Into the Woods.
