Jovan Henry Allen Belcher is an American full-back who played for the captain of the Kansas City National Football Federation. He grew up in West Babylon, New York and was an outstanding athlete in high school before attending and graduating from the University of Maine, where he played for the Maine Black Bears football team. Belcher has been named a two-time All-American in college after switching from full back to full back in his senior year. Belcher was considered a solid prospect for the small school NFL, but was not selected in the 2009 NFL draft. He was then signed as a free agent by the Chiefs and became a regular starting fullback in 2010. His most productive season was in 5. 2011, when he had 61 tackles and 26 assists. He was re-signed by Kansas City prior to the 2012 season and played in the team's first 11 games.
