Jeanette Biedermann is a German singer, songwriter, actress and television personality. Born and raised in the greater Berlin area, Biedermann began performing as a member of a children's acrobatic circus troupe when he was only six years old. She then attended beauty school before dropping out of school to pursue a career in music after joining and winning the 1998 Bild-Schlagerwettbewerb competition. The following year Biedermann placed fourth in the national final. For the Eurovision Song Contest, and rose to the top when she was chosen to star in the soap opera Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten. In 2000, Biedermann made a musical breakthrough with the first two English albums, Enjoy! and delicious. Trying to reinvent his image, Biedermann turned to pop rock for his subsequent albums, Rock My Life, Break On Through and Naked Truth.
