Oktavijan Miletić is a Croatian cinematographer and director. His pioneering work in the period 1928-1945 remains one of the cornerstones of Croatian cinema. Miletić was one of the founders of the Zagreb film club in 1928. Miletić entered amateur cinema competition in Paris in 1933 with his Poslovi konzula Dorgena and received a Louis Lumière prize. His 1937 Šešir was the first Croatian film to be shot with sound. In the independent country of Croatia, Miletić filmed three cultural films for the German film Tobis Film: Hrvatski kipari, Hrvatski seljački život and Agram, die Hauptstadt Kroatiens.
