Shane Gilberto Jenek, better known by his stage name Courtney Act, is an Australian star, singer and television personality. Courtney got very competitive during the Australian Idol's first season in 2003. After the show, she signed with BMG Australia and released her first single, "Rub Me Wrong", ranking 29th on the ARIA Singles Chart and finally achieved gold certification, ten years after its release. While auditioning for Australian Idol, she also became the first LGBTQ contestant to appear openly on a talent reality show. In 2014, Courtney was one of the finalists for the sixth season of RuPaul's Drag Race. In June 2019, a New York magazine jury ranked her third on the list of “America's Most Powerful Drag Queens,” the ranking of the 100 former Drag Race competitors.
