Ninh The Loan Chau, stage name Ninh Cat Loan Chau is a Vietnamese-American singer. It was first discovered in 1996 by music director Truc Ho at Asia Production. Her real name is Ninh Thế Loan Châu, but she combined her parents' surname to form the stage name Ninh Cat Loan Chau. She attended Doan Thi Diem Primary School and Marie Curie Secondary School. Loan Chau came to the United States in 1991 and reunited with her family in Westminster, California. Loan Chau is the only music artist in his family. As she recalls, her first experience in front of an audience was around the age of 6, where she sang in front of her classmates. At the age of 8, Loan Chau started to write children's songs to perform for her friends. Because of this unusual gift, the teachers at her school noticed her and allowed her to join a group of children on the animation committee. Her other musical pursuits include being part of her church choir from an early age.
