Mesley hosted CBC Television's consumer market survey series and was also a regular supporter of CBC's flagship evening news show, The National. She co-hosted Test the Nation with Brent Bambury. In 2001 and 2002, she co-hosted the investigative magazine CBC News: Disclosure to Diana Swain, and previously hosted the media and tech series Undercurrents from 1995 to 2001. She was born in Montreal, Quebec. On January 6, 1989, Mesley married CBC news host Peter Mansbridge, but the marriage ended in 1992. She remarried on April 17, 1998, with continued CEO. Marketing Liam McQuade and has a daughter with him, Kate Rae McQuade.
