Conor James Lamb is an American lawyer and politician who served as the United States Representative for the 17th Congressional District of Pennsylvania in January 2019. He serves most of the northwest suburbs of Pittsburgh. As a member of the Democratic Party, Lamb was first elected to Congress from the neighboring 18th District in March 2018, in a special election against Republican Rick Saccone that caught the attention of both countries. After the Pennsylvania parliament map was redrawn by court order, Lamb applied to run for the full term in District 17 in the 2018 general election, which he also won in 2018. Lamb is a federal prosecutor in the United States. U.S. Attorney's Office in Pittsburgh, where he prosecutes opioid deaths, violent crime, and gun trafficking.
