James Fallows
James Mackenzie Fallows is an American writer and journalist. He was the Atlantic National Correspondent for many years. His work has also appeared in Slate, The New York Times Magazine, The New York Review of Books, The New Yorker, and The American Prospect, among others. He's a former American writer. News & World Report, and President Jimmy Carter's keynote speaker for two years, is the youngest person to hold the post. Fallows has been a visiting professor at a number of universities in the United States and China, and has served as chairman of the United States Division of Communications at the Center for American Studies at the University of Sydney. He is the author of eleven books, including Defense, for which he received the 1983 National Book Award, Looking at the Sun, Breakthrough News, The Blind in Bagdad, Postcard from Tomorrow Square, China in the air and our Town.
