McKenna along with Lady Gaga, Natalie Hemby and Hillary Lindsey wrote the second single from the soundtrack for the 2018 A Star Is Born titled "Always Remember Us This Way". McKenna performed her backing vocals with Lindsey and Hemby, and the song received a Song of the Year nomination at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.
