Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik was the 5th President of the Maldives from February 7, 2012 to November 17, 2013, who took office after the resignation of President Mohamed Nasheed, with whom Waheed served as first vice president of the Maldives for more than a half-century. since 2008.
