Rachel Kathryn Gowey is an American gymnast. She was a member of the U.S. National Team from 2014 until her retirement from elite gymnastics in 2016, following her performances at U.S. Olympic competitions. Gowey is a member of the US team that won a gold medal at the 2015 Inter-American Games in Toronto. There, she also won individual gold medals on uneven bars. During her peak career, she was coached by Liang Chow, coach of 2008 Olympic champion Shawn Johnson and 2012 Olympic individual almighty champion Gabby Douglas. She is currently coached by Jenny Rowland at the University of Florida, where she started studying in 2016

American gymnast who won a gold medal in the uneven bars at the 2015 Pan American games. She competed at the 2016 Olympic Gymnastics Trials, but didn't make the final team for the 2016 Olympics.
She first joined the US National Team in 2014, a year after having reached Senior International Elite status.
She committed to the University of Florida gymnastics team as part of the class of 2016. She also won a team gold medal at the 2016 Pan Am games.
She was born to Rhonda and Jerry Gowey and has two sisters.
She's been teammates with Simone Biles on the US National Team.
