Ryan Bingham is an American singer and songwriter, with music spanning many genres. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California. In 2019, Bingham released six studio albums and one live album, the last four albums released under his own label, Axster Bingham Records. A native of Hobbs, New Mexico, Bingham grew up in the Southwestern United States. He started out on his own at a young age, taking part in rodeo racing as a bull runner in his teenage years. Bingham learned guitar music from his mother at age 16, playing first after playing it for friends. Eventually he started playing in small bars and became provocative all over the West, taking him to Los Angeles, California. Bingham signed his first recording contract with Lost Highway Records in 2007
