Marcus Jamal Hopson, known by his stage name Hopsin, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, music video director, and actor from Los Angeles, California. In 2007 he signed with Ruthless Records, and formed his own label, Funk Volume, in 2009. After that, he formed another label, Undercover Prodigy, in 2016. Hopsin released five studio albums, Gazing at the Moonlight through Ruthless Records, Raw, Knock Madness and Pound Syndrome, and collaborated with The Haywire Project with SwizZz via Funk Volume and No Shame. He is famous for his use of white contact lenses in music videos, concerts and interviews.
