Hanson is an American pop rock band from Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA, formed by brothers Isaac Hanson, Taylor Hanson and Zac Hanson. Supporting members include Dimitrius Collins and Andrew Perusi, who have been touring and performing live with the group since 2007. They are best known for their 1997 hit song "MMMBop" on their debut album released by Mercury / Polygram Records, titled Middle of Nowhere, which won three Grammy Award nominations. The group's Mercury Records label was merged with its sister labels and the group moved to Island Def Jam Music Group. After releasing an album on Island Def Jam, the label and the band go their separate ways. Hanson has sold over 16 million records worldwide and owns 3 best albums in the United States. They have three Top 20 US Hot 100 singles and eight Top 20 UK singles. The group are currently recording under their own independent label, 3CG Records.
