The name Keisei is a combination of the kanji 京 of Tokyo and 成 of Narita, which connects the main railway line. The combination uses readings other than those used in city names. The main line of the railway line runs from Tokyo to Narita and reaches the eastern suburban towns of Funabashi, Narashino, Yachiyo and Sakura. Keisei operates a limited express train to the airport named Skyliner from Ueno and Nippori to Narita International Airport.
