Elhaida Dani is an Italian Albanian singer, songwriter and actor. Born and raised in Shkodër, she competed in various singing competitions and started playing the piano from her childhood. She has gained considerable recognition in the Albanian speaking world following victories at the Albanian Academy of Stars, Top Fest and Festivali i Këngës. In Italy, she was also known as the first season winner of The Voice of Italy. Dani represented Albania at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "I'm Alive", after winning the 53rd edition of the Festivali i Këngës. She joined Kënga Magjike for the first time in 2017 with the song "E Ngrirë" while she finished runner-up. She was once again popular in Italy and France when she made her international debut in the world famous musical Notre-Dame de Paris.
