Ahn Hye-jin, known by the stage name Hwasa, is a Korean singer, rapper, musician, songwriter and television personality signed with RBW. She debuted as a member of girl group Mamamoo in June 2014. In February 2019, Hwasa debuted as a solo artist with the digital single "Twit. ", written and composed by her. The song was a commercial hit and peaked at number 3 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart for the week of March 2, 2019. In March 2020, Hwasa collaborated with British singer Dua Lipa for the mix. "Physical" by Lipa, who understands the Korean lyrics. In June 2020, Hwasa released their debut EP, titled "Maria", and their debut single of the same name.
