Lasgo were a Belgian electronic music group. The group formed in 1999 and is composed of Jelle Van Dael as the vocalist, and Peter Luts and Jef Martens as record producers. Peter Luts confirmed on Belgian radio in 2008 that Evi Goffin was not returning to the band, after choosing to become a full-time mother. Luts announced around the same time that he was looking for a new vocalist for the band. Together with Belgian TV station JIMtv, he organized a televised search for a new vocalist, that came to pick Van Dael as the singer. Throughout their career, Lasgo have sold more than five million units of their albums Some Things and Far Away, and the singles from those albums.

About Jelle Van Dael
Belgian singer who originally found success as the frontwoman of the award-winning dance trio Lasgo. She later branched out as a solo artist, releasing her first solo single, "Lie Machine," in 2014.
She grew up in the town of Opglabbeek in Belgium and auditioned for the talent show Let's Go Lasgo in 2008.
She participated in the Belgian edition of Dancing With the Stars in 2010.
She has a brother.
She replaced Evi Goffin as the singer for Lasgo in 2008.
