Warren holds a master's degree in divinity from Princeton Seminary and a doctorate. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Chicago. He is a former dean and psychologist of the Graduate School of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary. In 1995, Warren and his son-in-law Greg Forgatch founded Neil Clark Warren & Associates, a company that offers seminars and educational tools based on Warren's books. In early 2000, they founded eHarmony, an online compatible correspondence service that attracted two million users in its first three years. After retiring in 2007, Warren retired in July 2012, returning as Managing Director of eHarmony.
